How your plan works

A skill is something you can gain and prove. A drill is something you practise. SkillTree keeps those jobs separate and gives you an approved workout for the starting point you choose.

01

Choose a real skill

Start with the capability you want, not a generic exercise list. Each published skill has a route of supporting drills, with a clear standard for when it is recorded as gained.

02

Start from what you can do

Setup asks for the smallest amount of information needed to choose the first workout. The workout also creates a real training record instead of relying on a long opening quiz.

03

Fit the plan to real life

Your plan is built around your available time and equipment. If you separately opt in to health-data processing and provide an active limitation, relevant details can be used to scale or substitute drills. Health data is optional and can be deleted from the app.

04

Train the approved workout

Your starting answer selects an approved exercise version and amount. Record what you complete, skip what is not useful today, and repeat the approved workout when you are ready.

05

Prove progress

No XP. No streaks. No guilt. Drill history can show that you are ready to re-test, but a skill only appears as gained in your constellation when you demonstrate the skill standard itself.

06

Resume without punishment

Rest days are planned, not failures. A pause, missed week, phone call, or interrupted session should never invent progress or erase setup. SkillTree returns you to a clear next action.

The evidence base

Our progressions draw on established bodyweight strength methodology, including progressive overload through leverage, tiered isometric standards, and joint-preparation work. These principles appear in respected texts such as Overcoming Gravity and long-standing gymnastics strength training practice.

Before a programme is made public, its progression order, exercise choice, sets, reps, coaching, visuals, and safety boundaries need review by the appropriate qualified coach.
