1. Who we are and agreement
SkillTree is provided by SKILLTREE LIMITED, company number 17346623, with registered office at Flat 2 52 Pont Street, London, England, SW1X 0AE.
By creating an account or using SkillTree, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use an account. You must provide accurate information, keep access credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your account is personal to you. Do not sell, transfer, or share it in a way that lets another person impersonate you or access paid features improperly.
3. The service
SkillTree provides training plans, skill progression tracking, session tools, evidence history, AI coaching, and optional form analysis. Features may vary by device, region, subscription, or service availability.
AI and automated features may produce incomplete or inaccurate output. Review guidance critically and stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness, or unusual discomfort.
4. Health and safety
SkillTree is a fitness education and planning service, not a medical service. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent injury or illness, and its content is not medical advice.
Exercise has inherent risks. Consider appropriate professional advice before starting, especially if you have an injury, medical condition, are pregnant, or have been advised to limit exercise. You are responsible for choosing a safe environment, suitable equipment, and movements appropriate to your circumstances.
5. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Paid subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. The store checkout shows the current price, billing period, trial terms if offered, and taxes before purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple or Google account before renewal. Deleting SkillTree does not cancel a subscription. Refunds and billing disputes are handled under the store's rules and your statutory rights.
If a trial or promotional offer is available, its eligibility and end date are determined by the relevant store. We do not promise that every account will receive a trial.
6. Your content and licence
You keep ownership of content and information you submit. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service in line with the Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not infringe another person's rights. Form videos are processed temporarily for feedback and are not retained in your SkillTree account.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use SkillTree unlawfully; interfere with security or availability; upload malicious, abusive, or infringing material; probe or access another person's account; automate excessive requests; evade subscription controls; or copy, resell, or distribute protected service content except where law permits.
8. Our content and intellectual property
SkillTree, its software, visual design, training taxonomy, text, and other service content are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. Open-source components remain subject to their own licences listed in the app.
9. Availability, changes, and suspension
We may maintain, update, replace, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, serious misuse, non-payment, or protection of users and the service. Where practical, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.
10. Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms, losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or business losses where you use SkillTree as a consumer.
11. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, which providers receive it, and how to exercise your rights. Optional health data and product analytics require separate choices and are not made mandatory by these Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory law in your country of residence gives you additional protection. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
Contact support first if you have a complaint so we can try to resolve it promptly.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. We will update the effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes. If a change requires renewed agreement, we will ask for it before continued use.
